I'm looking forward to returning to my winter home in Quartzsite, AZ after a quiet summer off-the-power-grid in northeastern Arizona at 6,000 feet. I own a 5.19 parcel of high desert dirt complete with travel trailers and the only power there is that which comes from the sun, collected by solar panels and stored in batteries.
Once I'm at my winter home I'll be back on the power grid and once again paying an electric bill. Living off the power grid in the summer is not a big deal as there is plenty of sun to keep the storage batteries topped off. In the winter there is far less sun and the biggest power consumption is my electric refrigerator.
Always the optimist, I continue to list items online, both those I handcraft and those that I buy for resell. Lists provided on Landing Page.
